Position: Teacher (Instructor)


 

A. General Scope of Responsibilities:
1. Practice excellence in teaching and instruction. 2. Demonstrate evidence of professional growth and academic currency. 3. Carry out the responsibilities specific to his/her area, department and/or program. 4. Effectively maintain an appropriate affective environment, control of voice modulation, pace of instruction, and structure and vocabulary usage consistent with students’ proficiency levels and the subject being taught. 5. Develop an appropriate class-specific plan of instruction that effectively integrates use of audio, video, and computer software. 6. Ensure required course objectives are accomplished as scheduled 7. Contribute to the CEL community by participation in service activities.

B. Qualifications:
1. Professional knowledge of ESL/EFL principles, approaches, and methodology 2. Education: Master’s degree in education or in one of the following disciplines: Teaching English to Speaker of Other Languages (TESOL) / Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) / Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL); English as a Second Language (ESL) / English as a Foreign Language (EFL) AND at least two years of professional level experience teaching ESL/EFL

Position: Office Manager


 

A. General Scope of Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate space and office organization; purchase and manage supplies and equipment. 2. Review, track and prepare budgets; maintain records and databases. 3. Greet visitors and callers, route and resolve information requests. 4. Supervise support clerical staff.

B. Qualifications:
1. Minimum two years experience in office management. 2. Excellent communication skills

Position: Designated School Official (DSO)


 

A. General Scope of Responsibilities:
The role involves acting as the Designated School Official for SEVIS. This includes carrying out tasks and ensuring that all laws and regulations are adhered to.

B. Qualifications:
1. 6 months- 1 Year of hands on DSO-experience 2. Excellent communication skills – written and verbal 3. Fluent in another language desired

Position: Administrative Assistant


 

A. General Scope of Responsibilities:
Perform administrative and office support activities. Duties may include answering telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, and maintaining electronic and hard copy filing system.

B. Qualifications:
1. 2+ years of hands on administrative support experience 2. Excellent communication skills – written and verbal

Position: Data Entry Clerk


 

A. General Scope of Responsibilities:
Maintains database by entering new and updated students and account information.

B. Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or GED equivalency and 40 WPM. 2. Good communication skills
